After flying long haul cabin crew for fourteen years, at the end of 2018, I decided it was time to have my wings clipped and embark on a new journey, this time within the veterinary world.
I have always loved animals and nature, but it was not until shortly after moving to Kent when I found myself rescuing Mavis (a very moody Persian) that my house finally came to feel like a home. Having experienced excellent care firsthand from the Sandhole team (both for Mavis and for me), I jumped at the chance to become part of the team. On a plane or helping an animal in pain - providing customers with great care is all in a day's work!
I am slowly getting to know my new county of Kent - a real highlight so far was winning a cheetah experience at the big cat sanctuary in Headcorn.
