I have been working in the veterinary industry since 2001. I started as a student nurse and then qualified as a nurse in 2004. I worked at numerous first opinion and referral practices. I have a keen interest in animal behaviour and training and, in 2012, completed my diploma in Companion Animal Behaviour and Training.

In 2014, I joined the Sandhole team as Practice Manager, I loved this new role, giving me the opportunity to learn new skills but also support the clinical team and front of health teams to deliver the best care and services to pets. In 2021 I became Group Practice Manager of Sandhole and Cinque Ports Vets, furthering my new skill set and working with a wider variety of teams.

Since 2024 I have been Practice Director of Sandhole Vets and am currently completing a Veterinary Diploma in Leadership and Management. My personal life is just as animal focused as my professional. I share my life with 6 dogs (yes 6 dogs), 20 chickens and my dog trainer husband! In my spare time I train and compete in dog agility and enjoy keeping fit at the gym.
