Veterinary Surgeon

Anna Graduated from veterinary school at the University of Edinburgh in 2015 having previously completed a degree in animal science at Nottingham. She has previously worked at an exotic and small animal practice in Andover before moving back to Kent towards the end of 2016 and joining her family’s vet practice where she worked until 2023 before joining Sandhole Vets in the summer of 2023. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but in particular endoscopy and minimally invasive surgery. She learnt the skills for this from her father Philip Lhermette the pioneer of laparoscopic spays and completed her certificate in endoscopy and minimally invasive surgery in 2021. She is keen to bring this to Sandhole Vets and promote the option of less invasive and less painful procedures to our patients. In her downtime she enjoys horse riding and has horses of her own as well as looking after her own small flock of sheep.
