Registered Veterinary Nurse
My veterinary nursing career started in 2000, when I began my training at a first opinion practice in Paddock Wood. I went on to qualify as an RVN in 2004 and quickly developed a keen interest in nursing diabetic patients, this lead to me gaining the Pet Diabetes Advisor certificate in 2006.
After 10 years I decided it was time to further my knowledge and therefore took a position as a senior nurse in a large veterinary hospital in South London.
Over the next 13 years I was able to nurse more complex cases and monitor patients during MRI's, orthopaedic and laparoscopic procedures. This fuelled a new interest in surgical nursing and assisting the surgeons.
Having relocated to this area I was aware of Sandhole's excellent reputation. I therefore jumped at the opportunity to work here when a position became available in 2022.
I feel very lucky to work alongside a team that has such a breadth of knowledge and expertise. The patient's experience is very much at the centre of everything Sandhole does, the team works hard to ensure that the patients time in our care is as painless and positive as possible.
